With a vision to raise Women Institute of Learning and Rehabilitation Sciences (WIL/ WIRS) to a position of a highly useful and effective educational institution, we have been adding and multiplying learning facilities with reference to better faculty, well equipped labs, lively and interactive strong classrooms, well organized co-curricular activities (such as seminars and debates) in order to enable our students to undertake their research and academic pursuits with confidence and with a touch of patriotism. Thus they will be able to adapt, evolve and respond to the challenges of their practical and professional life. In this regard I appreciate the very much positive role played by the parents who cooperated and coordinated in our efforts to make WIL

an ideal educational institution. I also feel deeply indebted to the encouragement and the solid support from the Board of Directors WIL in our endeavors to introduce all sorts of innovation in the institution.

Our mission is to make WIL an institution where the student get the best in the form of enlightenment, the best in the form of social behavior and conduct, the best in the form of developing a mindset of being useful and helpful in their professional lives, the best to groom them to uphold their research habits in order to be able to deliver in life.

I appreciate the noble conduct and the ideal learning habits of all such students who achieved distinctions in their exams during the last fourteen years and thus brought a good name both to their teachers and the institution.

I am sure that our students will choose to continue with the lately introduced courses for the Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physiotherapy, M. Sc Clinical Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology, B.S (4 years) in Clinical Psychology and ADE in Education.

We plan to extend our courses to the levels of M.Phil. and Ph.D. in the relevant fields in near future.

I wish my present, past and prospective students and my institution many success and high laurels in their prosperous future.
