The orientation session for the 4th Batch of BSN Generic and Post-RN BSN students was successfully conducted at Jinnah College of Nursing, Abbottabad, on 2nd December 2024. The event aimed to familiarize new students with the academic environment, curriculum structure, institutional policies, and support services, ensuring a smooth transition into their nursing education journey.
The program began with a warm welcome from the faculty and staff, followed by an introduction to the history and mission of Jinnah College of Nursing. Key highlights included:
• Overview of Nursing Programs: Detailed explanations of the objectives, course structures, and expected outcomes of both the BSN Generic and Post-RN BSN programs.
• Institutional Policies: Guidance on attendance, grading systems, clinical rotations, and professional conduct standards.
• Support Services: Information about available resources, including library access, counselling services, and skill development labs.
• Interaction with Faculty: Students had the opportunity to meet faculty members, fostering an atmosphere of openness and mentorship.
